Boone County woman charged with first degree statutory rape and sodomy

A Boone County woman has been charged with first degree statutory rape and first degree statutory sodomy after being accused of having sex with a 13-year-old.

The victim told school officials on April 5 that he and Amanda Jones, 26, had sexual intercourse. During an interview at Rainbow House, officials examined the victim’s phone and found messages about a planned sexual encounter between the victim and Jones.

When asked about a sexual relationship between Jones and the victim, Jones refused to answer.
