Spotty storms possible into the evening
TODAY: As we head towards the afternoon, storm chances will be on the increase, especially south of I-70 as clouds cover will also be on the increase. Light to moderate rainfall can be expected. Severe weather is not expected with these storms. We will see high temperatures in the 80s and winds up to 8 mph from the southeast.
TONIGHT: Overnight holds the greatest chance for storms all the way through the morning hours. Areas south of I-70 continue to see the greatest chance for these spotty storms. There is a marginal threat for severe weather with the biggest threats being hail and damaging winds. Temperatures will be mild with the overnight low dropping to 70 degrees. There will be a slight breeze out of the east.
EXTENDED: We will have drier conditions on Thursday. Expect seasonal temperatures this week, reaching into the mid to upper 80s each day. There is a chance for storms Friday morning as a cold front drops into Mid-Missouri bringing slightly cooler temperatures for the weekend with highs reaching the mid 80s and nights in the low to mid 60s.
