Isolated showers and storms possible into Wednesday

TONIGHT: Tonight we will see a continued chance for isolated thunderstorms mainly west of HWY 63. Stronger storms may produce wind gusts up to 50 mph and locally heavy rainfall. Low temperatures for tonight will be dropping into the upper 60s with partly cloudy skies.

TOMORROW: For the Fourth of July, isolated storms are expected during the afternoon with increasing chances for storms during the evening across Mid-Missouri. Severe weather is not expected with these storms. We will see high temperatures in the upper 80s and winds up to 8 mph from the southeast.

EXTENDED: There is a chance for showers and thunderstorms Wednesday morning and a Marginal Risk for severe thunderstorms Wednesday afternoon. The biggest severe threats with these storms will be hail and damaging winds. We will have drier conditions on Thursday. Expect seasonal temperatures this week, reaching into the mid to upper 80s each day. There is a chance for storms Friday morning as a cold front drops into Mid-Missouri bringing slightly cooler temperatures for the weekend with highs reaching the mid 80s and nights in the low to mid 60s.
