Cole County Jail inmate accused of setting cell on fire
A former inmate accused of setting her cell on fire at the Cole County Jail was charged Thursday.
Gretchen M. Triplett, 35, of Rolla, reportedly set her cell on fire on April 6.
She’s accused of hiding a lighter and matches inside her bra after deputies at the jail searched her.
Triplett is charged in Cole County with felony burning and misdemeanor possession of contraband.
Deputies told ABC 17 News she has been transferred to an unspecified facility.
