Requests filed for Missouri Supreme Court to decide AG’s involvement in Healea case

According to official documents obtained by ABC 17 News, there have been requests filed for the Missouri Supreme Court to decide whether or not the attorney general’s office can be involved in the Shayne Healea case.

There has also been a motion filed for a rehearing within the court of appeals.

Earlier this month, ABC 17 News reported that a state appellate court had ordered the attorney general’s office to remove itself from a criminal case involving a county prosecutor.

Healea, the Moniteau County prosecutor, faces four counts of assault and one count of leaving the scene of an accident after he allegedly backed his truck into Addison’s restaurant in downtown Columbia nearly three years ago.
