Two injured in crash on Route B in Columbia

Police said two people were taken to the hospital Sunday afternoon after a two-car crash on Route B.

The crash happened around 2:30 p.m. near Highway 63.

Officers said the driver of one car and the passenger of the other car were taken to the hospital. The extent of their injuries was unknown.

Police said children were in the cars at the time of the crash, but weren’t hurt.

Parts of Route B were shut down and officers directed traffic while they worked to clear the crash.
