Callaway County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate Columbia man’s death
Tuesday marked one year since Steven Mullens, of Columbia, was found dead in a car in Callaway County, and so far, no arrests have been made in the case.
“The investigation remains active and deputies continue to follow up on leads, some of which were recently received,” Sheriff Clay Chism told ABC 17 News Wednesday.
Mullens was reported missing on June 20, 2016, and his body was found about three hours later.
A neighbor called in to report a suspicious car on the side of county road 268, and when authorities got to the scene, they found Mullens’ body inside.
