TONIGHT: The warm and breezy conditions will stay with us through the evening across mid-Missouri. Temperatures will only bottom out near 70 degrees under mostly clear skies. We’ll see winds remain out of the south up to 14 mph, with gusts as high as 25.
MONDAY: Hot and dry weather will persist into Monday with temperatures reaching the lower 90s and heat indices in the mid to upper 90s by the afternoon. Although it will be a gorgeous, sunny day, make sure to stay hydrated and take regular breaks in a cool place if you will spend extended periods of time outside.
EXTENDED: The 90 degree days will continue through Tuesday with muggy nights in the 70s. Our next chance of storms comes next Wednesday and Thursday as a cold front drops into Mid-Missouri. There won’t be a noticeable drop in temperatures behind the front, as we’ll only see one day in the upper 80s, before the 90s return. Most of next week features daily storm chances.
