No one seriously hurt after T-bone crash in central Columbia

Emergency responders were called to a crash at the intersection of North Providence Road and Ash Street around 8:30 p.m. Thursday.

Columbia police and fire responded to the scene.

Police said a truck was traveling west and a car was traveling south when the T-bone crash happened. The truck ended up in the grass off the road near the intersection.

Officers on scene said neither of the drivers were taken to the hospital.

One southbound lane of Providence was shut down while crews worked to clear the crash.
