Columbia man arrested for rape, getting juvenile pregnant

Columbia police officers were called to help the Boone County Children’s Division with a child abuse hotline in the 1300 block of Worley Street on May 3.

The 16-year-old female victim was pregnant with 37-year-old Walter Hagebusch’s child.

Officers found out that the girl got pregnant in Kansas City, Missouri and forwarded the report to the police department. Hagebusch and the juvenile had been living on the 1300 block of Worley street for a month and a half.

Hagebusch was arrested on May 26 at 600 E. Walnut for second degree statutory rape.
