Boonville woman charged with stealing guns in Callaway County arrested
A Boonville woman was arrested Wednesday after a two-month investigation involving several stolen guns from a home in Callaway County.
Nika Mann, 35, was charged last week with five counts of unlawful possession of a firearm, four counts of stealing a firearm and second-degree burglary in connection with the Mar. 20 incident.
Callaway County Sheriff deputies were called to the home near Holts Summit for reports of stolen guns from the residence. During the investigation Mann was determined to be the suspect.
The Boonville Police Department, Boone County Sheriff’s Department, Howard County Sheriff’s Office and Randolph County Sheriff’s Office also helped with the investigation.
Mann was arrested in Boonville Wednesday and taken to the Callaway County Jail. She’s being held on a $50,000 bond.
The stolen guns were recovered during the investigation.
