Eldon man arrested for possession of meth

An Eldon man was arrested on Monday for possession on methamphetamine worth an estimated $4200.

The Mid-Missouri Drug Task Force arrested James M. Wright for second degree trafficking and delivery of a controlled substance. Wright’s bond was set at $200,000 cash or surety.

Wright was just released from prison on May 22 and is a persistent offender.
