Memorial Day ending dry and mild

MEMORIAL DAY: Monday is going to be a perfect day to enjoy outside. Weather will be less humid, skies will be mostly clear, and temperatures will be warm near 80 degrees. By the afternoon into the evening hours, skies will start filling with clouds as a weak cold front moves to the southeast. This frontal passage could lead to a few showers in the late afternoon/early evening for areas along and east of I-44. Most of Mid-Missouri will see dry conditions into tonight with temperatures dipping into the lower 60s.

TUESDAY: Conditions will start off dry and sunny with our high reaching into the upper 70s. By the afternoon, a chance for light to moderate showers and storms may develop in areas south of I-70. Accumulation is expected to be less than 1/4″ with showers continuing in the late night hours.

EXTENDED: Wednesday brings drier and sunny weather back into Mid-Missouri for a brief amount of time. As Thursday approaches, a warm front will lift into the area giving us a chance for showers and thunderstorms. This will also bring the highs into the 80s by the later part of the week. More upper level disturbances are expected to move into the area giving Mid-Missouri the chance for rain and storms into the weekend.
