Wardsville Tornado, EF 0 and EF1 Damage

On Friday evening, a tornado in Cole County near the city of Wardsville brought EF 0 and EF 1 damage, the lowest on the EF scale. The tornado touched down 2 miles west of Wardsville on Pebble Creek road in a neighborhood where it caused minor damage to the roof of a single family home. It tracked northeast, crossing over Friendship Road, Route B, and Wardsville Road, and eventually ending over Vanloon Rd. EF 0 damage was estimated on Pebble Creek, and EF 1 damage was estimated right before it crossed Route B. Here is struck a home where it caused significant damage to the roof, with estimated winds speeds of 100 mph. The tornado was on the ground approximately for approximately two minutes and tracked 1 mile on the ground during this time.
