A dry Monday morning commute, with changes by the evening
TONIGHT: We will have a clear, cool, and calm night here in mid-Missouri. Into the evening, winds will be subsiding and temps will be dropping quickly. Overnight lows are in the upper 40s.
MONDAY: Dry weather and mostly sunny skies will carry only into the first half of Monday. The next wave of rain will move in from the northwest after 12PM and will continue into the overnight hours. No severe weather is expected; only a few thunderstorms. Monday will be slightly warmer with the high in the lower 70s .
EXTENDED: Rain and thunderstorms will carry into Tuesday as the associated cold front slides off to the southeast. A ccumulation up to 1/2″ with isolated pockets up to 1″ is possible. A few isolated showers are possible throughout Wednesday as the low pressure responsible for the rain continues to pull to the east. The rest of next week looks mild with high temperatures in the low 70s and nights in the 50s. Wednesday will be our coolest day of the week with temperatures expected to stay in the mid 60s with chilly Thursday morning temperatures in the mid to upper 40s.
