Troopers investigate drowning death at Lake of the Ozarks

The Missouri State Highway Patrol said Steven Fox, 66 and of Fenton, was found floating near the 25-mile marker of Kinchelow Hollow Cove around 8:30 p.m. Friday.

According to the drowning report, Fox was not wearing a life vest.

Fox was pronounced dead at the scene.

The drowning was Troop F’s first case for May and second for the year.
