Tornado watch, storms across mid-Missouri for Friday evening

The ABC 17 News weather team is tracking the current and future weather conditions for Friday.

According to Chief Meteorologist Sharon Ray, a tornado watch will continue until 10:00 p.m. for most of Mid-Missouri south of Highway 24. Storms will increase throughout the evening and move east by 10:00 p.m. and could become severe with a possible tornado, hail up to two inches in diameter and wind gusts to 70 mph.
