Storms Friday night into Saturday

TONIGHT: Showers and storms will continue overnight. There is still a low severe threat mainly near I-44 where strong damaging wind gusts or isolated large hail are possible. Heavy rain is possible with most areas picking up an additional .50-1.0″ rain, with up to 2″ possible.

SATURDAY: Storms will move out early but re-develop in the afternoon. These will be scattered and more numerous east of HWY 63 and south to I-44 where there is a threat for isolated severe storms with large hail or damaging wind. Highs will reach the mid to upper 70s and we’ll by dry by mid-evening.

EXTENDED: We will have a pleasant end to the weekend with more sun, low humidity and highs in the low 70s Sunday. Next Monday looks mild with a slight chance of showers or t-storms late in the day and overnight, possibly lingering into Tuesday morning.
