Saline County man arrested for child molestation
A Saline County man has been charged with child molestation after allegedly molesting two girls.
On April 11, the Saline County Children’s Division emailed the Saline County Police Department about a 14-year-old girl who reported being touched inappropriately by Simon Parada-Flores.
The Child Safe House in Sedalia interviewed the girl on April 17, revealing that Parada-Flores touched the girl inappropriately since she was 10.
On April 25, Parada-Flores was arrested and interviewed by officers. Parada-Flores admitted to touching the girl’s sister for sexual excitement, but said when he inappropriately touched the 14-year-old, it was out of curiosity.
Parada-Flores is from El Salvador and does not have a job where the incidents occured.
