New trial date for former Osage County Sheriff accused of pulling gun on man while intoxicated
The former Osage County Sheriff accused of pulling a gun on a man while intoxicated has had his pre-trial moved back to Aug. 8. The jury trial will begin Aug. 15.
Michael Dixon was charged with the amended charge of a misdemeanor of the unlawful use of a weapon while intoxicated.
Dixon was at a Hartsburg bar in 2016 when he pulled a gun on someone. No one was injured during the incident. At the time, Dixon was on probation after pleading guilty to harassing a female Belle police officer in 2013.
