Moberly man charged with shooting at deputy gets more charges
Additional charges have been filed against a Moberly man after he shot at deputy during a pursuit.
James Fainter has now been charged with three more counts of assaulting a law enforcement officer, possession of a controlled substance and resisting arrest.
In May of 2016, James Fainter led a Randolph County sheriff’s deputy on a pursuit near Huntsville and fired at deputies, before he was shot at least twice.
Fainter is charged with two counts of assault on a law enforcement officer, two counts of armed criminal action, unlawful possession of a firearm and receiving stolen property.
