Crews to build speed bumps on Stewart Road starting Monday

Crews are expected to build speed bumps on Stewart Road beginning on May 15.

The goal of the project is to calm the speed on the road.

The project will include a two speed tables on Stewart off of Lindell Drive and Westwood Avenue, two speed bumps located east on Edgewood Avenue, Glenwood Avenue, and West Parkway.

If drivers go on Stewart for their morning commute, add a few extra minutes to your commute. Public works expects minor delays.

Flaggers will be present to help drivers get through the area.

The project is expected to cost around $31,800.

The project is expected to be finished on May 23.
