Third suspect arrested in morning business break-in
The Callaway County Sheriff’s Office said authorities have arrested a third suspect wanted in connection to a burglary at a business near the Boone-Callaway County line Saturday morning.
Deputies said the burglary happened in the 1400 block of Old Highway 40 around 8:45 p.m. The business owner said he saw a man walking around his building with a crowbar.
Deputies later arrested Renea Hill, 34, and Robert Peak, 23, both of Mexico in connection to the burglary. Deputies and troopers found stolen items from the business and drug-related items inside their car.
Another suspect fled the scene, but was arrested around 4:30 p.m. in Audrain County. That suspect has been identified as Casey Jolly, 35. Jolly was arrested on suspicion second-degree burglary and property damage.
He’s currently being held in the Callaway County Jail on a $5,500 bond.
Peak is being held on a $14,000 bond for possible charges of second-degree burglary, property damage, stealing, trafficking drugs, possession of burglary tools and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
Hill was arrested on suspicion of unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and has since bonded out of jail.
