Less Humid end to the week

TODAY: Light rain is possible through 6AM near the Lake of the Ozarks and I-44 this morning. Sunshine returns mid morning with clouds again passing this afternoon making it a partly sunny sky today with temperatures in the low 70s. It will feel less humid starting today, with winds from the northeast up to 12 mph.

TONIGHT: Broken clouds are possible through 7PM, while it looks to be mostly clear overnight. Temperatures will be more May like tonight dropping to the upper 40s with a north wind under 5 mph.

EXTENDED: On Saturday morning we’ll need to watch for patchy fog as temeperatures will be cool in the mid to upper 40s and winds will be light under 5 mph. We’ll have a warming trend as we head into the weekend with mostly sunny skies. High temperatures will reach the upper 70s to near 80 Saturday with a light northerly breeze shifting to the south under 8 mph. A southwesterly wind will increase to 12 mph Sunday afternoon, warming us into the lower 80s. The warming will continue into early next week with highs in the mid to upper 80s Monday and Tuesday. It’s possible we could see our first 90 degree day by next Monday in some locations. The humidity increases by next next week again, giving us muggy nights with lows in the 60s. The next opportunity for rain and thunderstorms looks possible by next Tuesday night and into Wednesday.
