Phelps County man arrested for possession, promoting child porn
A Phelps County man has been charged with first degree promoting child pornography and four counts of possession of child pornography after his home was search by the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
James E. Reeb, of Newburg was arrested on May 5 after MSHP went to his home and served a search warrant. Reeb was interviewed at his home, and he told authorities that he used his desktop and laptop computers to download child pornography files from the internet.
Reeb also had a thumb drive of child pornography that contained graphic content of children between the ages of eight and 16.
