What’s going around: May 2, 2017

It may seem hard to believe this time of year, but the flu is still going around.

The doctors at Broadway Urgent Care say that they are continually seeing patients with the flu. They also say sinus issues and strep have been making patients sick.

Dr. Tara Flynn from Mizzou Quick Cares and Urgent Care is also still seeing a lot of flu cases. She says many patients have at first thought their flu symptoms were just allergies, but they turned out to be more serious.

Although the flu is going around, allergies are too. Dr. Flynn says patients have had itchy eyes and runny noses.
