What’s going around: April 25, 2017

The doctors at Broadway Urgent Care say since the pollen counts are high right now, they are seeing sniffling, sneezing, itchy eyes and skin.

Allergies are also leading to some sinus infections and upper respiratory issues.

Dr. Tara Flynn at Mizzou Urgent Care says she is also seeing patients with allergies. She says a number of patients have allergic conjunctivitis which unlike pink eye, means itchy eyes. It can also include runny noses, rashes and a cough.

The average cold is going around and so is the flu. The Broadway doctors say they are mostly seeing cases of flu B.
