The 30s return to mid-Missouri
TONIGHT: Winds will begin to subside through the evening hours, but still remaining out of the north at 5-10 mph. Decreasing clouds through the evening and that slight northerly breeze, will lead to a cold night. Temperatures will fall into the upper 30s. This will lead to wind chill values by morning in the mid 30s across a good portion of the region. Conditions will remain dry.
SUNDAY: Sunday is the day to get outside as we will have gorgeous conditions! Temperatures will rebound back into upper 60s. Some areas even breaking into the 70s. Dry conditions will ensue with a slight breeze out of the north. Sunday evening will be another cool one with temps dropping into the 40s. Winds will begin to shift out of the southwest allowing for a warming trend for the start of the work week.
EXTENDED: We’ll warm to the low to mid 70s early next week with mainly dry weather through Tuesday. Rain chances increase Wednesday through the end of next week. As we head into the latter half of next week, the rain looks to once again bring a flooding threat to Mid-Missouri, along with a chance for strong storms.
