Boone County: Inmate charged with assault over cookie
A Columbia man was charged for a fight in the Boone County Jail on Friday.
The Boone County Sheriff’s Department said Lawrin Riles hit a corrections officer in the face because he didn’t get a cookie with Thursday night’s dinner.
No one was seriously hurt.
Riles has been charged with third-degree assault.
