Warming temperatures and storm chances into the weekend
TONIGHT: Skies will remain clear with low temperatures dropping into the mid 40s with a light breeze from the south under 6 mph.
WEDNESDAY: After a cool morning, temperatures will rise into the lower 70s in the afternoon under mostly sunny skies with a southerly breeze up to 12 mph.
EXTENDED: We’ll have more clouds around Thursday with high temperatures in the mid to upper 70s. There is a slight shower chance north of I-70 in the morning and storm chance west of HWY 63 later in the day. We will also have a chance of showers and t-storms Friday but they will be spotty through Friday night. No severe weather is expected through Friday. Saturday looks warm and breezy with partly cloudy skies and southwesterly winds gusting to 25 mph at times. There is a slight storm chance early Saturday morning mainly north of I-70 but most of the day looks dry. Our better chance of storms moves in Saturday night as a cold front moves in from the north. Scattered showers and storms are possible through Sunday morning with rain chances decreasing into the afternoon as the rain chances moves south with the front.
