Storms Monday Morning

TODAY: It will be a mild morning with temperatures in the upper 60s for the morning commute. A chance of storms continues through 7AM for those north of HWY 24. There is a slight thunderstorm chance for Jefferson City and Fulton between 6AM and 7AM this morning, while the best chance will be for areas north of I-70. Light rain looks possible through 10AM. Temperatures will reach the mid 70s today, with winds becoming westerly mid morning. Wind gusts to 25 mph look possible through this evening.

TONIGHT: Clouds will erode from west to east this evening with winds becoming light under 10 mph from the north. Perhaps some patchy fog in nature will develop, however widespread dense fog is not expected.

EXTENDED: T uesday will be the ‘coolest’ day of the week. Tomorrow we’ll start off in the upper 40s under a mostly sunny sky. Temperatures will reach the mid 60s with light northwesterly winds under 10 mph. By Wednesday, temperatures are back to the mid to low 70s. A chance for rain returns late Wednesday night into Thursday morning, timing looks to be from 2AM through 9AM the best chance with light rain possible south of I-70 during the day on Thursday. On Friday, a warm front lifts, and additional rain looks possible across the Ozarks by sunrise. Additional rain is possible from Friday, while temperatures look to warm possibly near 80 again on Saturday and Sunday.
