Minor flooding to continue in some mid-Missouri cities
A flood warning is in effect for some counties near the Missouri, Mississippi and Grand Rivers through Sunday night.
According to the National Weather Service, areas near the Missouri River in Boonville, Glasgow, Miami and Herman have minor flooding.
Areas near the Grand River in Brunswick and Sumner have moderate flooding. The river levels near Sumner are two feet away from reaching the major flooding level.
Some risks of minor flooding are little property damage and possible public threat, such as water on roadways.
Some risks of moderate flooding are water affecting structures and roadways and possible evacuation of people to higher-level areas.
Boonville is expected to be out of the minor flood warning by Tuesday morning, and Glasgow is expected to be out of the minor flood warning by Monday morning.
