One person taken to the hospital after crash in Columbia

One lane of Paris Road near the Highway 63 intersection was shut down Saturday night down while emergency responders worked to clear the scene of a crash.

The crash happened just after 8 p.m.

An officer with the Columbia Police Department said three cars were involved in the crash and one person was taken to the hospital. The extent of the person’s injuries is unknown at this time.

ABC 17 News is working to get more information.
