Man arrested on suspicion of stealing truck
The Boone County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man Friday after he allegedly stole a truck during the overnight hours.
A sergeant said the truck was reported stolen from the 2200 block of Woodie Proctor Road, south of Columbia, Friday morning. A few hours later deputies spotted Brandon Harrison, 28, driving the reported stolen truck.
The sergeant said deputies pulled him over and found drugs inside.
The prosecutor’s office charged Harrison Friday with stealing a motor vehicle and possession of a controlled substance. He’s currently being held in the Boone County Jail on a $10,000 bond.
