A warm Sunday followed by a chance for evening storms
TONIGHT: By tonight, temperatures will remain pleasant in the 60s as those southerly winds continue to push in warm air into mid-Missouri. Tonight gusts may be as high as 28 mph. Conditions will remain dry with partly cloudy skies.
SUNDAY: Sunday will be a warm one as temperatures climb into the 80s by the afternoon! Strong winds will continue into Sunday with sustained winds around 9-18 mph out of the south with gusts near 30 mph. Storms are expected to develop in western Missouri by late Sunday afternoon and move into Mid-Missouri Sunday evening after 9 PM. Strong to severe storms are possible. Northwestern portions of mid-Missouri are under a marginal threat. Isolated storms could produce large hail and damaging winds.
EXTENDED: As a cold front slowly moves east Monday, rain ends early in the morning with additional storms possible in the afternoon mainly near I-44. It looks dry for Tuesday and much of Wednesday next week. It looks unsettled from Wednesday night into next Saturday with periods of showers and t-storms possible.
