Head-on crash takes two to Moberly Regional with minor injuries

A man and a child were taken to Moberly Regional after a vehicle crash on Thursday afternoon at Morley Street and Rollins Street.

When the officers got to the scene, they found a Chevrolet Uplander on its side and a Ford Mustang with severe front-end damage.

Matthew Rich, a 32-year-old of Moberly, and a 4-year-old were traveling south on Morley Street in a 2007 Chevrolet Uplander and 65-year-old Carl Boggess of Moberly was traveling west on Rollins Street, in a 2007 Ford Mustang. The vehicles then collided.

Rich and the 4-year-old were transported to Moberly Regional by Randolph County Ambulance with minor injuries.

Everyone involved in the crash was wearing a seatbelt.
