Rain and cooler through Wednesday evening
TODAY: Periods of showers will continue through this evening. Some wet snowflakes can’t be ruled out for those north of I-70 from through 4PM today. Temperatures will be falling throughout the day with windy conditions through tonight for some locations. Additional rain amounts will range from 0.10″ in southwest Mid-Missouri to up to another 0.50″ for those east of US 63. Winds will continue to gusts to 35 mph through the afternoon. Temperatures in the afternoon will be much cooler in the mid 40s.
TONIGHT: It will still be windy, especially for those east of US 63. It looks like wind gusts start to lighten this evening for those west of US 63. Rain will taper off between 9PM and 11PM tonight with temperatures falling to the upper 30s.
EXTENDED: Thursday looks breezy, partly cloudy and cool with highs in the 50s. We’ll have a chilly night Thursday with lows dipping into the low to mid 30s. We’ll need to watch for possible frost late Thursday night into Friday morning. Warmer, drier weather moves in Friday through Sunday with high temperatures reaching near 73 Saturday and mid 70s Sunday with possible storms returning on Sunday night.
