Men suspected of stealing and breaking into Maries County Road Department arrested

Two men who broke into the Maries County Road Department off Highway 133 on March 8 have been arrested, according to the Maries County Sheriff Department’s Facebook page.

19-year-old Aaron J Bahr of Dixon and 25-year-old Taylor W. Carson of Crocker both stole several thousands of dollars worth of equipment.

On March 16, Bahr was arrested and on March 29, Carson was arrested. Both men have been charged with felony stealing and felony burglary.

Carson had previously broken into the residence of someone who works for the Sheriff’s Office.

Bahr has posted bond and has been released, but Carson remains in custody.
