Two arrested after stolen ATV recovered in Callaway County
Two teens were arrested Wednesday after a stolen ATV was recovered.
The Callaway County Sheriff’s Office said the ATV had been reported stolen on County Road 318 on Tuesday.
Less than three hours after the report, deputies found the ATV in a wooded area near a residence on the same road. The vehicle was then processed and returned to the owner.
During the investigation, deputies developed suspect information and on Wednesday arrested and jailed Taylor Fields and Tristin Dudley, both 17 of Fulton, for tampering with a motor vehicle.
Fields later posted a $4,500 bond and was released pending a court appearance. As of Wednesday night, Dudley remains in jail on a $4,500 bond.
