Severe Storms Increasing For Monday Night

This risk is upgraded for severe weather Monday night through Tuesday morning. Multiple rounds of storms are possible tonight. The evening commute will likely have some isolated thunderstorms developing near US 63 after 5PM. Another round will increasing by 9PM. This line will be more organized and bring the potential for all modes of severe weather. Storms overnight look to be organized. There is an Enhanced Risk for severe from I-70 and south. ALL modes of severe weather will be possible overnight. The greatest threats are 60 mph wind gusts and large hail 1″ in diameter or greater. A tornado cannot be ruled out, especially for those south of HWY 50 near the Ozarks and I-44.
