Winds Increasing Friday night through Sunday

It will be a breezy evening as winds pick up by 3PM-5PM. Winds from the southeast will begin to gust near 20 mph during this time. Overnight sustained winds of 18 mph is possible, gusting to 30 mph by midnight. South of HWY 50 the strongest wind gusts look possible where upwards to 38-40 mph isn’t ruled out near the Lake of the Ozarks.

Temperatures will fall to 40 tonight, and it looks like these may rise slightly overnight. Outdoor burning is discouraged for all of Mid-Missouri as temperatures warm to the upper 60s and winds gust to 30-40 mph during the day Saturday and upwards to 25 mph on Sunday.
