UPDATE: Ongoing search for man on Warren County felony warrant

UPDATE 5:23 p.m.: The suspect is believed to be out of the area and is still at large. The sheriff’s department confirmed with ABC 17 News that they know who the suspect is and that he has an extensive history with the sheriff’s department.

ORIGINAL STORY: A Callaway County deputy patrolling County Road 121 southeast of Kingdom City spotted an individual on foot, whom the deputy knew was wanted on a Warren County felony warrant.

The suspect, a 30-year-old male, fled on foot. Several deputies have are in pursuit of the suspect and are being assisted by the Missouri State Highway Patrol and the Missouri Department of Conservation.

The highway patrol aircraft division is assisting in the search as well, and it is still ongoing.
