Man arrested at Budget Inn for drugs, trafficking

Columbia Police officers were dispatched to a 9-1-1 check at 900 Vandiver Drive, Budget Host Inn, Room 155 early Friday morning.

Officers arrived on scene and were able to talk with Brett Bilderback and two other subjects who were staying in the room. Officers ran his name and found that he had a warrant out for his arrest. Several pieces of drug paraphernalia could also be seen in plain sight.

Officers applied for and served a search warrant for the hotel room. Drug paraphernalia,106 grams of methamphetamine and three needles containing heroin were found in the room.

Brett Bilderback was arrested for a misdemeanor failure to appear warrant on the original charge of unlawful use of drug paraphernalia, DUR/DU, and first degree trafficking.
