Storms Exit, leaving a cool and breezy Wednesday

TODAY: As rain and thunderstorms come to an end in east Mid-Missouri through 4AM, temperatures will be falling this morning to the mid 40s. It will a chilly morning with wind chill returning to the mid 30s by 7AM. Clouds will decrease through the day and it will be cool and windy with westerly winds at 15-20 mph gusting to 30 mph. It will feel more like March as high temperatures will reach the lower 50s.

TONIGHT: It will be mostly clear this evening and overnight with winds becoming calmer under 10 mph. Overnight temperatures will fall to the low 30s. A wind chill in the mid 20s is likely by daybreak on Thursday.

EXTENDED: The rest of the week looks dry with daytime temperatures reaching the lower 50s and nights in the upper 20s Wednesday and Thursday nights. Southerly winds will warm us into the 60s this weekend and it will be breezy Saturday. Winds look like they could gust to 25 mph during the day Saturday, so outdoor burning is discouraged again this weekend. The next rain chance looks to increase by Sunday night and Monday morning of next week.
