24-year-old killed in Audrain County crash

UPDATE 2/27: A crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol shows a 24-year-old was killed in a crash in Audrain County.

24-year-old Clinton Deimeke apparently lost control of the car he was driving. It then slid and flipped.

21-year-old Leah Mays was also in the vehicle at the time and both were thrown from the car during the crash.

Neither of them were wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.

Deimeke was apparently pronounced dead on the scene. Mays suffered moderate injuries and was taken to University Hospital for treatment.

ORIGINAL: The Missouri State Highway Patrol said an injury accident occurred at the Audrain and Callaway County line just before 10 p.m. Sunday.

Sgt. Scott White with Missouri State Highway Patrol says preliminary investigation reveals one vehicle was involved, and staff for life was called.

Currently, troopers are still working the scene on Audrain Road 756, near Route N.
