No one hurt after early-morning fire damages Linn Creek home

No one is injured after an overnight fire damages a home in Linn Creek.

The Camden County Sheriff’s Office said the initial call came in shortly after midnight Saturday morning. They say the caller reported hearing a loud explosion and said the trailer and the woods were on fire.

When deputies arrived, the home was fully involved. The family who lives there had gone out for the night, so no one was home at the time.

The cause of the fire is currently unknown.

In addition to Camden County deputies, Linn Creek officers, Mid-County Fire, Mercy Ambulance, Laclede Electric and the Fire Marshall from Sunrise Beach Fire were all on scene.
