Cole County man arrested for possession of drugs, firearms

Members of the MUSTANG Drug Task Force and the Jefferson City Police Department made a narcotic and firearms search at 5607 Ravenwood Drive, Apartment A, in Cole County, the residence of Jordan Reece Stokes.

At the residence, authorities found multiple guns including one that was stolen, 4.39 grams of methamphetamine, a mason jar filled with marijuana, 3 Alprazolam pills and various drug paraphernalia.

Stokes also had $3,965 in cash, which he later admitted to being from narcotic sales. Stokes also admitted to being a convicted felon and knowing that he is not legally able to have guns.

Stokes was charged with two counts of possession of a defaced firearm, two counts of possession of a controlled substance, two counts of receiving stolen property, one count of delivery of a controlled substance and four counts of unlawful possession of a firearm and use of a firearm.
