Five injured in single vehicle crash in Mexico

Just 2 miles north of Mexico, Mo, a group of young adults, all reportedly not wearing seatbelts, were left with multiple injuries after their vehicle crashed early Sunday.

Reports from the Missouri State Highway Patrol indicate the driver and his 4 passengers sustained moderate to minor injuries from the crash. No other cars were involved.

3 of the 5 occupants in the car were transported to St. Mary’s Hospital for their injuries.

The driver of the car was a 21-year-old male. He had three female passengers, ages 18, 19 and 19, as well as one 20-year-old male passenger.
