Search warrant executed on Randolph County home nets drug bust
A Randolph County man is in custody after a search warrant is executed near a school in Moberly.
Cordero McPherson Sears, 27, was arrested Friday after members of the Moberly Police Department, North Missouri Drug Task Force, and Randolph County Sheriff’s Office served a narcotics search warrant at a home in the 1500 block of South Morely Street, about a mile and a half from Moberly High School.
Inside the home, officers found Sears, a 19-year-old woman and 21-year-old woman.
Police said they also discovered a large amount of money, guns, meth, pills, marijuana, synthetic drugs and items used to in the distribution of narcotics.
According to the Moberly Police Department, Sears was charged by Randolph County Prosecuting Attorney Mike Fusselman with two Class B Felony counts of drug distribution.
Sears is held in the Randolph County Justice Center on a $45,000 cash only bond.
Police tell ABC 17 News the investigation is ongoing.
