Red Flag Warning and Fire Watch Thursday

All of Mid-Missouri counties have been upgraded to a Red Flag Warning. These go into effect at 11AM and will expire at 6PM. A Red Flag Warning means that the humidity will be lower in these areas, under 20% at times making for dangerous burning conditions. Outdoor burning is highly discouraged in these areas as winds will gust near 30 mph at times today making outdoor burning uncontrollable.
